Claire is the founder of the Banyan Tree Group, which runs hotels and spas in 23 countries. The company is committed to being a good neighbor: their two pillars of corporate responsibility are environmental conservation and community involvement. The latter involves reviving local crafts and cultures, and the Banyan group now supports 50 communities in seven countries. The fourth Stilletto Step is self-care, and Claire has recognized that investing in the surrounding community benefits everyone in the long-run. She has also recognized the importance of investing in your own employees, advocating for family-friendly workplace policies as the head of the Employer Alliance.
A former member of Parliament and a current Justice of the Peace, Claire has used her various positions – both in the corporate world and as a board member on various non-profits – to advance the causes of women in business and corporate responsibility. In the quest for better Gender Physics around the world, I’m proud to honor someone who recognizes the importance of investing in ourselves and others.
Sorry, but I am just not into this gender physics, other than it is the oldest understanding known. Being a woman, I feel I have arrived, I have lived, I have given....all of which stretches me to continue to do the same...I am an equal with my counterpart! I wish you all the best in your personal journey search. geri

I think your comments demonstrate good gender physics. You enjoy giving, a feminine energy attribute. And you aren't afraid to stand up and make your individual views known, which is masculine energy. That's good balance! Thanks for the comment. Betty-Ann
